is rightly said that ”health is wealth”.
A healthy person leads a happy and fulfilled life. Health and fitness are associated with
happiness. Health is not only associated
with the body, It is equally important to have a healthy state of mind as well A healthy state of mind includes being able
to remain calm in stressful situations, have a broad outlook and to have a good perception of things and situations
that are happening around you. Physical fitness is achieved through proper
nutrition, exercise, and adequate rest, whereas mental well-being is achieved
through yoga and meditation.
Today, people are becoming increasingly conscious of
their bodies and how they look. Obesity
is put down with exercise and proper food, which are the two main factors to
remain in good shape. Women are going into yoga, visits to the gym, and a diet
consisting of veggies and fruits minus carbs, to get that slim look coveted by
models.

Yoga is another extremely beneficial activity for the wellness of the mind and body and it is being followed by men and women throughout the world. Since yoga requires time, people with little time to spare are not able to indulge in it. Meditation is another beneficial practice that requires time.
The practice of Meditation leads to reduction of stress and calmness of the mind and spiritual awakening.

A Morning Walk |
For busy people, just an
early morning walk is highly beneficial.
Research has shown that an early morning walk helps to rejuvenate the
heart and keep the brain healthy. People who go for regular walks in the mornings have a reduced risk of getting heart disease and strokes. It has some awesome beauty benefits as well. It slows down the aging process and the fresh oxygenated air gives your skin a healthy radiance. It also gives you mental alertness throughout the day.
People of the world are now conscious that a good diet and
exercise is important to avoid any of the dreaded diseases like diabetes, heart block, high blood pressure, etc., which are all the outcome of a bad diet, a
sedentary lifestyle, and stress. But along with physical well being it is equally important
to have a well balanced mental health.

This state of mental health is achieved by having adequate rest and avoiding
stress. A minimum of 8 hours of sleep at night
is required for a person to be alert, active, and balanced the next day. This state of mind reflects on
the performance he puts in on that day. You should keep a sleep schedule follow each night. Be sure not to go to bed hungry or too full. Have a dinner that is light but filling. And don't watch TV. before going to bed. Be sure to switch off the mobile. TV and mobile screens have a negative effect on the brain and are not conducive to a night of good sleep.

I
t is also advisable to keep away from people who have a negative influence on you and subsequently on physical health as well. These people fill a person with toxic feelings that have a toxic influence on mental health. So keep away from these people!
So it is important to be surrounded by positive people, who radiate positivity. There are people who just change the very atmosphere of a room when they appear. Do you know anyone like that? The presence of these types of persons who are jovial and vivacious helps others to remain cool which then reflects on the output of his/her work as well as on the mind.
To be able to lead a healthy and happy life is entirely in the hands of the individual. He/she must have a determination to avoid unhealthy and trash food, and to avoid the intake of unhealthy substances into the body. By adhering to the above guidelines, a person will be able to lead a healthy and happy life and avoid life-threatening diseases.
